These gauges are machined to .958inches tall to allow for type high plus .040inches of packing and have heavy duty magnets to hold secure onto any steel platen press bed.

To use: stick the four gauges on the outside corners of your press bed and remove any packing from the platen. Close the platen and adjust your platen screws until it is level against all four gauges. Make sure not to overtighten.
